Luke 15:11-32


Definition: - This is the state of inability to perform a normal function (lack of success, fulfillment deflect, frustration. It can be said to be an act or instance failing or proving unsuccessful => dictionary
We can now say => failure is the condition or fact of not achieving the desired end or ends, or one that field, someone or something not successful.

TEN MAJOR CAUSE OF FAILURE


1. LACK OF SPECIFIC PURPOSE IN LIFE => GOD SETTING

2. LACK OF EDUCATION=> ILLITERACY (NOT BEING INFORMED)

3. LACK OF SELF DISCIPLINE => SELF CONTROL

4 .PROCRASTINATION => MAJOR PROBLEMS

5. LACK OF RESISTANCE => GIVEN UP SO EASILY.

6. BEING NEGATIVE => YOUR THOUGHT LIFE

7. NOT WILLING TO TAKE A RISK => MAINTAIN FOCUS

8. WRONG SELECTION OF FRIENDS => BAD ASSOCIATES

9. MISPLACE PRIORITY => LACK OF FOCUS

10. LACK OF HONEST ->UNTRUTHFULNESS.

PRACTICAL STORY OF ABRAHAM LINCOLN

Born into poverty, Lincoln had face defect throughout his life. He lost eight elections, failed in two businesses, and suffered a nervous breakdown which left him bed ridden for six months. He could have quit many times but he did not and instead became one of the greatest American presidents.

Below are list of Lincoln’s Failure


1. 1832 – lost job, defected for state legislature

2.1833- Business he started fails

3.1835 -personal love (Ann putledge) dies

4.1836-Sufferd from nervous breakdown

5.1838-defected after running for Illinois house speaker

6.1843-defected in nomination for congress

7.1848-lost renomination for congress

8.1854- defected in his run for senate

9.1856- defected in his nomination for Vice president

10.1858- Defected in running for senate.


Finally in 1860 Lincoln was elected president, and the rest, his history. In Nigeria our current president is also a practical example he contested for president four times and failed twice (2) with president Obasanjo and so with president Yaradua once  and president Good luck  Jonathan once before winning at first attempt.

Failure is not the end of life is like falling, the bible says seven a man shall fall and seven times he shall rise again. This simple means he never falls because 7-7=0.
One success can bring fifty failure .All you need to do when you fail,” GET UP BACK” one day you will succeed.
